DOWNTOWN AURORA – Jared Mead, Reece Boyd and Erin Carlisle are busy constructing beds behind the River’s Edge Cafe at 14 W. Downer, Ste. 18. The beds will be hoisted upon the rooftop and used to provide fresh produce for the restaurant. Mead said that many vegetables that the cafe uses, including peppers, herbs, tomatoes, onions, and more, will be grown using the rooftop gardens.
