Endiro Coffee opens bright, welcoming space; brings “glocal” vision to downtown Aurora

Endiro Coffee, a “glocal” experience of food, coffee, and juices, opened in May at 29 W. New York St. in downtown Aurora.

 

It’s the first U.S. location for Endiro Coffee, which has five cafes in Africa.

 

Expect a fresh, “glocal” experience at Endiro. The modest menu offers popular items from their Ugandan cafes (the global) with some local coffee roasting and local ingredients (the local).

 

The bright, open cafe along New York Street acts as a gathering space for locals.

 

Endiro offers freshly baked muffins, cookies and pastries at their counter.

 

Cozy up to the coffee/juice bar or grab a table at Endiro in downtown Aurora.

An inviting basement area is perfect for a quiet space to sit and enjoy a coffee or have an impromptu meeting.

 

Gloria Katusiime, a native Ugandan, stayed in Aurora for months to ensure a smooth opening of Endiro Coffee, her first U.S. location. Her business partner, Cody Lorance, resides in Aurora.

 

Endiro provides tableside service as well as counter service at 29 W. New York St. in downtown Aurora.
