The Alley Art Festival Show is Coming to First Fridays
The Alley Art Festival Show is almost here.
It’s commonly known as a day of art, music, and spectacle in downtown Aurora, and it’ll be back on Water Street Mall this August. Alley Art Festival is giving fans an early treat with an indoor, curated show featuring just over a dozen festival artists at February’s First Fridays.
Hosted at If These Walls Could Talk, 32 S. Stolp Ave., the first Alley Art Festival Show will have affordable, local art for sale.
A dozen, hand-selected favorite Alley Art Festival artists will present their work. Artists include Ellis Maldonado, Rosa Nevarez, Meghan Schmid, Teresa Fiehn, Chris Hodge, Don Picton, Roz Anomaly, Gail Maldonado, Desiree Franklin, Joanna Goss, Kittens of Industry, and Georgia Alderson.
“It’s a chance to support local artists and to thank them for being so dedicated to the arts community in Aurora,” said show organizer Marissa Amoni.
The Alley Art Festival Show is from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5. The show runs throughout February.
