Aurora – Dozens of locals engaged in the downtown scene enjoyed a night out at Chef Amaury at 33 West on Thursday, March 1 as the Spring 2012 Issue of Downtown Auroran Magazine was released.
Folks mingled and enjoyed a festive time – complete with some impromptu music courtesy of John Klatt and David Glynn (of the Empty Can Band) testing out local artisan Jeff Weber’s most recently crafted guitar fashioned out of metal (and bullets). Stars of the night were community organizer Jeanne Norris, publisher Marissa Amoni, artists Lisa Gloria, Leif Rogers, Don Picton and Rosa Nevarez. Cover artist Marie Lubshina also made an appearance.
Thanks to everyone who came out to make it a great and memorable night. And a special thanks to Amaury and Trish Rosado for opening up their fabulous restaurant to us.
