The Alley Art Festival Show Opens Friday

The first ever Alley Art Festival Show opens at If These Walls Could Talk in downtown Aurora during First Fridays on Feb. 5. The show features a dozen handpicked artists who have showed work at Alley Art Festival at Water Street Mall on the last Saturday in August.

Featured artists are Don Picton, Joanna Goss, Kittens of Industry, Gail Maldonado, Ellis Maldonado, Desiree Franklin, Chris Hodge, Roz Anomaly, Meghan Schmid, Rosa Nevarez, Teresa Fiehn, and Georgia Alderson.

The opening is from 7 to 11 p.m. and includes a kazoo hour from 7 to 8 p.m. and shadow puppets at 8 p.m. Free kazoos to the first 45ish in attendance.

RSVP to the Facebook event here. The opening is part of First Fridays in Downtown Aurora. Free trolley rides from 7 to 10 p.m.

The show runs through the end of February. If These Walls Could Talk is a gallery and frame shop located at 32 S. Stolp Ave. in the ground floor of the historic Keystone Building.
